Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions very carefully before renting with us. By ordering from us you are agreeing to the following terms; if you have purchased a rental you are accepting our agreement and policies outlined below.

 

General Terms of Rental: 

By renting a garment, you agree to our rental agreement and policies. This agreement means that you are accountable for upholding rental dates, garment size, the ordered garment/s and the return dates all specified in your order. You must keep this garment in your possession over the whole 4 day rental period; and it may not be shared nor worn by others. Whilst you are renting all garments remain the legal property of Dolled up by Sophia and MUST be returned by the agreed upon date that will be specified in your order confirmation; this return date will not change at any point after you receive the confirmation. If your garment is not returned by the due date stated in the T&Cs and order confirmation you will be held accountable to pay all late fees; $20 per day; you do not have the right to keep the product past the required date of return. Your rental is only confirmed when your payment has been made and you receive an order confirmation. 

 

Bookings Pick-up + Postage: 

You are more than welcome to steam dresses when you receive them but please avoid using an iron; only steam. Any iron/heat damage visible upon return will likely result in you being charged the retail price to cover a replacement. Please do not clean our rentals after wear as this is a complimentary service offered by us. All of our garments must not be altered or adjusted in any form, any unauthorised alterations will likely result in additional charges. 

 

Accidental Damage Protection:

Available for all rentals. By selecting this protection, you are covering any accidental damage to your rental that has occurred to the garment during your hireage period up to $50 of damage. This protection will only cover the cost of small (FIXABLE) repairs or specialized cleaning costs up to $50 worth; therefore does not cover the replacement of garments if they are returned in a condition beyond repair including major tears (not on the seam,) major pulling and/or permanent stains. This protection also does not cover late fees or lost items. This damage protection is not refundable however if you cancel your order, you will be given store credit which includes the damage protection fee. 

Try ons:

There will be a rack next to where you can try on the dresses, please leave all the dresses that you try on, on this rack so that I can look at them after you’ve tried them on to check for damage and put them back in the right place. Any damages beyond repair that occur during try-ons will require you to pay full retail cost to cover replacing the dresses.  

Please come to the try-ons preferably without make-up on and fresh tan to avoid us needing to clean the dresses before shipping them out for their rentals.
